What a mobile locksmith can program
For most cars on the road, a locksmith can cut the blade, supply the correct fob or key, and program it to your vehicle right in your driveway or parking lot. That covers transponder keys, remote head keys, and the majority of push-to-start smart fobs. We carry the equipment that talks to the immobilizer the same way dealer tools do.
Adding a spare when you still have one working key is the simplest job and usually takes only a short visit. Even all-keys-lost, where every key is gone, is something we handle for a wide range of makes and models without a tow to the dealer.
When the dealer is actually required
A small slice of newer and luxury vehicles use security systems that, by design, only the dealer or the manufacturer can fully service for all-keys-lost. In those cases the car may need to be connected to an online manufacturer account or have a module updated that is not open to the aftermarket.
We are honest about this up front. When we check your year, make, and model and see that it is a true dealer-only situation, we tell you plainly rather than send a tech out who cannot finish the job. For everything else, the mobile route is faster and easier.
How to find out which applies to you
The fastest path is to call us with your year, make, model, and whether you still have a working key. With those details we can almost always tell you on the phone whether it is a quick mobile job, a more involved all-keys-lost visit, or a rare dealer-only case.
Because we come to you anywhere in West Palm Beach and Palm Beach County, you skip the tow and the dealer wait. If your car is one we can handle, we cut and program on site and you drive away the same visit.
